First Test Using Line Input After Preamp Modification

The following Spectras were created from real time observations after the Preamp/Signal Conditioner was modified with one additional stage of amplification using the inverted input of an Op-Amp. This modification is shown in the Schematic Section. Prior to this modification observation of Schumann Resonance was accomplished by feeding the output of the Preamp/Signal Conditioner to the microphone input of the laptop. This modification has made it possible to use the line input of the laptop instead. Benefits as a result have been the ability to use longer cable lengths between the Preamp/Signal Conditioner and the laptop. Another plus has been the elimination of noise generated by the laptop's display.

As we can see in the two Spectras the first resonance has a well defined bandwidth. Likewise the second but it is not as strong and difficult to see. Location for this observation: Cow Creek Road between Peoria and Crown King, Arizona. This location is one of my favorites. A primitive road straight out of the Old West. Untouched country that one can drive through if you have the vehicle for 40 miles.

Yes there is water in a few remote areas of the Desert!

There were no unusual conditions during these observations. The Earth's magnetic field was quiet. One can never tell with Schumann Resonance as far as just how strong it will appear.
